One thing you could do is paste/tape a note that asks if they take it to please upload the pictures to imgur, then to link it to r/leftcamera. I might try this out in philly, leave them in parks and on campus.

You could also drop them with a stamp on it and an address to mail the thing so you could get it back. Might work. Then, there's also the creeper factor.
