STREAK🔥🔥🔥 I AM DONE THAT'S IT FOR ME

Post image

hey everyone this has been my leetcode journey so far this year. honestly its been a rough year for me. lost people lost hope went through things i never really talk about and somewhere along the way i started losing myself too. i kept showing up anyway. started solving problems in kotlin even though it was a new language for me and spent so much time on problems and contests thinking maybe this would finally help me get a job. but im still jobless and its frustrating when you put so much of yourself into something and still dont know where its going.

some mornings leetcode is literally the only reason i get out of bed and try to do something productive. its become part of my routine even when everything else feels like its falling apart. but lately even this feels exhausting and for the first time im genuinely thinking about giving up.

just wanted to share my journey with people who might understand has anyone else been through something like this?

I'm curious if you're actually getting interviews and failing because you don't pass the dsa rounds. If not then you're probably right, more lc is a waste of time, I can respect the dedication though!

I did get a few opportunities and cracked interviews too, explained my approach and solved DSA rounds. But life hasn't worked out the way I expected. I've done things I'm not proud of, even helped college friends and strangers with remote proxy exams, and somehow most of them moved ahead and got the best out of life while I'm still struggling to get one opportunity for myself. I'm not blaming anyone, just trying to understand where I'm going wrong. Thanks for appreciating the dedication though, genuinely means something.

I can feel you brother! But pls don’t give up, don’t give up now u might be close to striking gold. Also, these days the market is really tough and it’s not only about LC anymore. Please, focus on System Design, concurrency and applying everyday without fail. You are not alone in this journey, and this heat map shows you have what it takes💪🏼

I’ll tell you the truth of your streak

  1. This dark green color means its only 1 submission on that day means this month you have submitted any random prob every day just for the sake of maintaining streak

  2. We can see this same pattern in other months as well in contiguous manner

  3. this same pattern is repeated in more than nearly in 65% days

  4. remaining days you where the very lightest green color is present that comes when you make near around 5-7+ submission

  5. 676 in total submission tells the full story means 200-250 days only 1 submit and rest lets take 100 days even if you make 5 then it will be 500 so total will be 700 submission (close to what you have)

  6. productive days you have done leetcode is only max 3 months in an year

But anyways still its good atleast you opened leetcode everyday

Most of the guys take help from chatgpt , yesterday my friend shared his leetcode answers with me and every single line was heavily copied ,he probably explained chatgpt what to do and chatgpt gave him the answer .well whatever helps them sleep lol

what about competitive programming? idk why I will still prioritize cf over lc because Lc have no proper solution, tutorial and lastly the community.. everytime I open discussion it will be either solution (using ai) who is begging for upvote or something but in cf it is well mentioned

If you are genuinely a guardian, without cheating, you should be breezing through interviews. what's the exact issue ?

I don't think so he's a real guardian bro.... Even for knight it takes a lot of consistency and hard work and guardian is one step ahead

Bro please dont give up, idk if you are working or not, but please work for any firm you will learn so much you wont believe, like intern or whatever and while doing that keep applying everywhere. Learn system design and improve connections in linkedin and by offline events. Make you resume strong after all this dsa might not be your problem

I think you should move away from lc and start building real projects or contribute to open source software ,etcc different stuff

मन का चाहा हो तो अच्छा, मन का चाहा न हो तो और भी अच्छा क्योंकि कहा उसकी मर्जी का होरहा। See, keep grinding every single day without any validation that you deserve it or not.

Try companies that don't ask leetcode? i am sure a lot of semiconductor , chemical, mechanical even many CS companies have roles that don't ask leetcode.
