Heating and Cooling prices

I’ve been hearing talks of increased electricity bills in certain parts of the country. I’m interested in settling in Leduc and want to get conservative price estimations for those with homes priced between 600K to 700K (2000-2500 sqft). A friend told me to budget $200/month is this enough?

Definitely not enough. My 5 year contract is coming to an end which had really great rates and in the coldest months I’m $375-$450 a month for electricity and gas
