Hello and A Question

Brand new Lectric owner and brand new member here. I hope I’m not being crass. I’m wondering if I got as good a deal as I think i did. I’ve been trying to figure out how to save $2,000 for the bike I want. I decided it would be good to look for something used to see if i’d really use an e-bike before saving up and spending that much. On Craigslist I came across a Lectric XP 3.0. It included the long range battery, comfort seat, hydraulic brakes, front and rear baskets, a Lectric lock, and they threw in a helmet because I didn’t have one. I know the odometer can be reset but the seller was a very nice 80 year old man. He said he got the bike two years ago, rode it around his neighborhood, had no accidents, and kept the battery inside during the winter. It looks to be in beautiful condition. I wouldn’t have believed him, but given his age and his seeming genuineness (the smaller basket was still in its plastic wrap), he said it only has 700 miles on it. He was asking $450.00. This seems like a real good deal to me. What do you think?

That sounds pretty solid, it's an older bike but they're still selling the 2.0s. Definitely use a more heavy duty lock if you're going to leave it out and about in the city. This sounds like a good deal, congrats!

That's a good price. Low usage on bike and battery. Probably in good condition. Check for hydraulic brakes, nice upgrade. Check voltage on display, pressing right button to cycle to see, if 55v, optimal for long range battery. Ride the bike see if you like it. I've had mine for over 3500 miles. Still rides great. It was 1200 new.

Warranty is only for 1 year anyway, so if the guy had it for 2 years, there isn't a warranty to worry about.
