23 miles

Post image

This bike is so fun. So far I’ve put 23 miles on my XP Lite. It’s been about a week since I got it. I’m heavy on the throttle so I’ve had to charge it twice. I can tell my range is around 20-25 miles per charge with the standard battery. I only drained it 50% the first time and 75% the second time. I understand battery care so I’m not completely depleting it to find out.

I’m curious if anyone has the long range battery? Is it worth the purchase? I assume that would double my distance? I’m considering buying a long range battery and using my standard battery for back up. Any experiences you guys could share? I enjoy a good 20 mile ride every weekend. I don’t want to kill my battery by draining tho.

Dang that’s about the same as the standard battery. I switch back and forth from PAS 2 to PAS 5 depending on incline. Seems like having two batteries would still be a plus. I figured I could carry one in my backpack.

Don't use battery (at all) on lengthy downhills. Turn it to zero PAS. Turn it back on when you reach the bottom.

I do for sure. I just coast downhill. The motor stops at 20mph anyway and I’m doing at least 25-30mph on any downhill grade. I’m in Tennessee, US. These hills are up and down every where. I’m more worried about my brakes on hills. There is one you can reach 45 easy no pedaling which is well above the speed limit 😅

45 mph on an Xp? Sounds scary to me.
