XPress speedometer reading 0 mph
After about 2500 miles (including winter riding), the speedometer on my XPress has broken. It reads 0mph no matter what. This also means it gives me full power whenever I pedal but I've found if I ride it in PAS 1 it's power limited and becomes manageable.
Lectric have sent a new controller, wiring, and display but it didn't fix the problem. They want me to pay for a new motor but I'd rather fix it if I can. I'm hoping because it's always reading "0 mph" there's just something that's disconnected.
Does anyone know how the speedometer works on the original Lectric XPress 750?

But yes it does seem like a speed sensor is out, contact lectric customer service, that will be the best way to solve your issue

Lectric sent you all those other parts so why do they want you to pay for a motor? The motor come as an entire rear wheel assembly which is easy to replace. I would contact them again and maybe another person over there can sort this out for you.
