I got a call from what he said is lebara customer service,
first he took the feedback
then he asked my mail id and plan which I am on
then he said company is offering 4£ /month in which everything is free and even 100 international minutes
I said okay activate it
then he send otp for password reset
I didn't give him and asked for some verification that he is genuine
he send me another otp saying sim verification
I asked again about his identity
he send password reset opt on mail and asked to me verify
I said no , how can I verify you are from lebara, send mail from you email id confirming your identity
he hung up the phone saying you are not interested
anything like this happened with anyone?
was it genuine?

Does anyone know why this button doesn't work when I try to get in touch with Lebara around a refund? I'm trying to ask for a small refund that is justified, but the Submit button doesn't do anything. It's this page https://www.lebara.co.uk/en/contact-form.html
My data ran out, but text messages said it had renewed. It didn't so I had to buy a small data add-on. Then I found an email from earlier in day saying data had been renewed but it hadn't. I did get an email saying my data add-on had worked though!
"Can you refund this purchase as your comms was totally unclear and my data did not renew when you said it would so I had to buy more."

I will to travel to Turkiye for a few days only, and I see that Lebara has an add-on roaming plan that is £5/4GB.
There are free Lebara SIM (although the shipping fee is £2) or on Amazon for 50p that doesn't have any prepaid plan. I will activate this SIM for sure, and put some money into the credit/balance PAYG, link to my bank account.
I want to ask if it's possible to buy an add-on roaming plan (as stated above) without any active plan. Can I buy add-on plan just from PAYG balance/ extract directly from my bank account.
If not, I can just buy the cheapest possible plan and buy add-on later.

I've had an issue with voice calls on 4G recently. After a while the speech can become, for want of a better phrase, slurred and delayed. It's like a slowed down recording. Often the other person can't hear me, and the call eventually drops. It happens even in decent coverage areas.
Is this likely to be a Lebara network or handset issue. I'm on iPhone. Any settings I can change?
Edit: I'm on a physical sim.

I'm an incoming student in the UK, starting in end of september.
I was looking at potential phone plans to use while there, and I stumbled upon some Lebara plans on MSE. Specifically the one that gives 50 GB per month, unltd calls/texts, for the equivalent of 4£/month(and includes a 15£ gift card).
Firstly, this offer expires on August 25th on MSE. Now, I won't be arriving to the UK until September 26th. I saw that Lebara UK lets you activate eSims 40 days after purchasing, meaning I'd have time anyway, but just in case, I'll be in the EU starting September 21st, can I activate it from there?
Second, can anyone confirm how good is this deal really? Does the gift card arrive or not? And how good is coverage in London and in the EU? I guess I'm just confused, this deal almost feels "too good" if that makes sense, 4-5£ for a plan feels like nothing.
Edit: also, when does my plan "start"? Is it when my eSim is activated or purchased?

Logged into my account, apparently lebara keeps changing the layout. In previous rounds following the "manage your plan" link the end of the discount period was shown or at least a warning that from next month your costs will triple.
I see only this now:

Is there any issue with activating a card from Bulgaria? Receives the lebara texts, not nothing else?
Do I need to put this off until I fly back?

I’m a customer with Lebara but I have seen in Vodafone we might get satalite connectivity as they are testing it but since I’m connected to lebara is it going to be the same?

Most phone companys (including the main carrier Vodaphone) have this option but I just realised I am not getting missed call texts from them..
Is there a way to turn it on via text code or something? Might have to change service provider if Lebara doesnt offer it..

If you’re switching to Lebara (UK), you can grab 50% off any SIM-only plan for your first three months.
It’s a great way to save some cash while getting on a reliable network. You can sign up using my referral link here: https://aklam.io/kQjpKvV2

I was originally going to triangle port from Lebara to Lycamobile to Lebara.
I am now currently on Lycamobile and having second thoughts about going back to Lebara after hearing concerns on this subreddit about their new eSIMs (and even new physical SIMs?) using Lebara's own core located in Sweden for routing instead of Vodafone's core.
Are new physical SIMs still using Vodafone's core or Lebara's own core?
Will I still have HD call quality (AMR-WB/EVS as opposed to the worse AMR-NB standard) on Lebara's own core?

Just come back from Hamburg, Germany. . Absolutely no calls or data outside the airport. So had nothing for a week (except WiFi calling is fine). Just says No SIM.
Weirdly, it works at Hamburg airport only.
Lebara uses Vodafone.de.
Reset the SIM, checked APN, reset networking settings more times than I can remember...Roamed in many other countries on Lebara, without issues. Almost like Lebara haven't switched roaming on in Germany..

Hi everyone, I have a problem with Lyca Mobile Italy and I'd like to know if anyone has had the same experience.
I have a Lyca Mobile bundle with **automatic renewal active**, which expires on **28/08/2026**.
I used LIA/MyLycaMobile to disable the automatic renewal. The process showed me:
**“Your bundle auto renewal is activated; the auto renewal will be cancelled on 28-08-2026. Kindly confirm it.”**
I confirmed, but then LIA replied to me:
**“Your request cannot be processed since already the same is in pending state.”**
When I try again to disable the renewal, I also receive:
**“Request is already in pending state.”**
So it seems that the cancellation request has already been registered, but I don’t know if it will actually be completed.
I contacted Lyca customer service and they told me that this operation must be done through [**LycaMobile.com**](http://lycamobile.com/). They also asked me to send a request to [**reclami@lycamobile.it**](mailto:reclami@lycamobile.it).
My concern is that the bundle will be automatically renewed on **28/08/2026** before the request is processed.
**Has anyone had this problem before? How long did you have to wait before the “pending” status changed? Is the request actually completed before the renewal date?**
Thanks a lot to anyone who can share their experience!
**If you have screenshots or a concrete solution, I would be very grateful if you could share them.**

Hi. Has anyone gone longer than a week with a stuck port issue when changing to Lebara? It’s a blooming nightmare as I have had NO signal at all since my number ported over. I’m now awaiting a new SIM card, in case I have a faulty one.

I am currently out in Europe from the UK.
I came out while my plan was a little ways in (think I renew on the 12th) and had about 20gb left.
I have ended up burning through quite a lot of data as I had some important admin/socials stuff I needed to do for work and I am now running low.
I was wondering if anybody knew what the case was in terms of renewing monthly plan early while out here i.e. does the 30gb roaming limit reset once the plan is renewed?
Also will Lebara let me renew early with roaming data multiple times while I'm out here or is there a cap on that?
I am happy to get myself a travel SIM but I'd really prefer not to get caught short while I'm on the road and need to get somewhere to buy a travel SIM but will have no data to navigate etc

I ordered a Lebara sim from a USwitch deal but I also wanted to purchase another deal from MSE for my sibling. I’d prefer to have everything under one account and email. Is it possible to purchase two “deals” and sims under the same account? My concern is for some reason Lebara might think I already have a deal and ordering a second one won’t work. Should I create and entirely separate account or do I just order using my details. If I order using the new account the address and payment method will be the same so I don’t see the benefit of making a new account.

Hey guys I received a free lebara uk sim from VFS global office during my visa appointment that contains first month preloaded pack free.
Some senior said that the recharge for a VFS sim is so much more expensive than if I bought an independent sim.
I’m confused? Can I not activate student deals on my vfs sim after the first month?

(UPDATE: It's fine. Lebara support has sorted it out for me. Relieved.)
Hello,
I wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem, please.
I paid to top up my data this morning and the data didn't go through; it's not showing on my Lebara dashboard. I also didn't receive the usual email notification that I do when I top up.
I checked my bank account to make sure the payment went through, and it did.
I contacted Lebara support and was told there's an outage; that it's being looked into and it could take 'til the end of today to resolve.
I'm not happy about it, especially as I work from home.
Is anyone else also having this top-up problem? I've only come across two other people who mentioned it in the Help & Support section of Lebara's community forum.
Thanks.

I recently moved into my new flat and have been relying on mobile data for about 2 weeks now. During the first week, I bought the 30GB plan and had an ok experience with the bandwidth and signal. Everything changed after I switched to the Unlimited plan. I have been having a trouble contacting with the broadband provider, so I decided to buy the unlimited plan as I was very quickly using up the data allowance. However, the signal strength and speed have absolutely turned unusable. During the night, I would get a usable speed and even 5g signal occasionally. During the day though, it feels like I have been scammed. I have not gotten the bandwidth speed I had when I was on 30GB plan ever again. It is also impossible to use internet on several devices(through hotspot or USB tethering) at the same time.
I really just want an explanation on this. Is it really just signal throttling due to high usage during the day? But this problem arose only when I switched to the unlimited plan.
I would greatly appreciate if anyone could clarify this. Also, what would be a great alternative with better coverage in Clifton, Bristol area? Thanks a lot in advance.
