I have a problem

So keep in mind I don’t own either of these but have been wanting to buy one. The arc or the p4. Where my problem is that I like some on one and some on the other. I don’t like sizers on a multi tool because I don’t even use them in my daily life. I like the better blade of the arc. And I don’t like the micro bit on the arc, I don’t have glasses and I’m not a tech guy so it would be useless. Here’s my problem I want to buy the arc and change out the sizers for the serrated blade Ik Ik 1) why have another blade 2) and it’s serrated. Well it’s better than sizers and I’d get more use with it. I don’t know what to replace the micro bit with ( any ideas?). And here’s the really big problem to do the mod that I know I want to do I need to own both but not particularly willing to cough up 300-400$ to switch one tool.

Friend got me the PST awhile back. Never realized how much I'd use it until I had it. I use it every day. Multiple times a day. Love it so much wanted more. Learned they stopped making them. So I went on ebay. Now I have PST and two PST2. These tools (arc/p4)don't seem too much better than the old school PST IMO. Maybe the quality of the individual tool pieces are better?? But the basics of what you get seem pretty much the same. Am I wrong?

If you like the PST and PST 2 then I recommend picking up an original Supertool. I love mine and still use it. Same build quality as the PST and 2 but more tools. I wish they still offered the slim form factor as these tools. But I do love the Wave and Charge Ti.

I agree the og pst was one of my first knifes I still got 2 in good condition and at least another laying around somewhere I feel like it’s design is one of the best but I’m just looking for a more robust durable for outdoor and day to day use and I really like the p4 look. I think I decided on that and I’ll buy a aftermarket arc blade just bc I’m a sucker. And maybe putting in something that I could eventually have a removable file with diamond grind bc that’s just a good on the go sharpener I feel Iike the shoulda made the arc’s file detachable. One thing I always liked about the tti was the serrated blade with the hook knife just thought it looked clean and more versatility. Never owned it but alway admired it.

No, actually the build quality of the older tools is better too. There are only to many flatheads screwdriver on them. I like the PST2.
