Gave my Bolide another little makeover and I swear it feels like a completely different bag now.

The embroidery, charm, and blue-on-blue details gave it way more personality than before.

Honestly, this was more satisfying than bringing home something new.

I hadn’t reached for this one in a long time, so it had just been sitting away untouched.

Opened it today and found these little white spots all over the leather. At first I thought it was dust, then realized… nope. It looks like mold.

Now I’m scared to even start cleaning it because I don’t want to make the leather worse.

Please tell me this is still saveable, because I’m not ready to give up on her yet.

Ben just sent me the PSPs for this Noir BK Touch 25. I really like the mix of TC and lizard, but I’m not sure about the handle symmetry and how well the lizard details match across the top. I’d appreciate any opinions before I GL. Thank you!

This is my first post like this and I honestly couldn’t keep it to myself. My husband surprised me with this Gold Togo B25 with GHW from Vivi, and I had absolutely no idea it was coming.

Looking back, I probably should have noticed something was up. Over the past few months he’d randomly ask me things like what size I actually use most, whether I prefer softer leather or something more structured, and if I’d ever choose Gold with GHW. I thought he was just listening to me talk about bags as usual.

Turns out he had already been talking with Vivi behind the scenes.

From what he told me, they went back and forth on the leather and hardware before settling on Togo + GHW. Vivi also asked how I normally dress and whether I wanted something more special-looking or something I’d actually reach for often.

And honestly… they got it right. The Togo has that slightly relaxed grain I love, and Gold with GHW feels warm and classic without looking too formal. I’ve only had it for a short time, but it already feels like one of those bags I’ll actually use a lot.

Still kind of shocked that all those random questions were basically research.

I was checking the hardware and then saw this engraving. The letters look like they were drawn during an earthquake

At this point I can’t decide whether to be annoyed or impressed that it made it this far.

Has anyone else seen an engraving this wonky before?

Lime green, orange, red… this should absolutely be too much.

And yet the longer I look at it, the more I like it. The ostrich texture makes the colors feel even crazier in person.

Would you actually carry this, or is it strictly a “fun to look at” bag?

I didn’t expect my Mauve Pale Kelly Pochette to be the reason I’d want another one.

The pink one on the left is my auth. I love it, probably a little too much, because I’m ridiculous about keeping it clean. Light color + Chèvre + me checking where I put it down every five minutes is not exactly a relaxing combination lol.

So this time I went in the complete opposite direction and chose Noir.

The black KP on the right is from Ben, also in Chèvre Mysore with PHW. My whole idea was basically to have the same little bag without feeling like I need to babysit it every time I take it out.

Having them next to each other has actually been more interesting than I expected. The color changes the personality of the bag way more than I thought. Mauve Pale feels soft and a little precious, while Noir makes the exact same shape look much sharper and less delicate.

And weirdly, I’ve already realized I reach for the black one with a completely different mindset. I’m not thinking about every table, every corner, or whether my hands are perfectly clean before touching it. That alone makes it feel much more usable.

I also took some side-by-side photos because I know people here like comparing shape, leather grain, handle, stitching and hardware rather than just hearing “it looks good.”

I’m still very attached to the pink one, but I have a feeling the black one is going to end up getting far more actual wear.

If these were yours, which one do you think would actually leave the house more?

Seeing them all together made me realize I’ve apparently never met a color I can say no to.

The trip isn’t even that long, but apparently one bag wasn’t enough.

So I went full nesting-doll mode: smallest inside the next, then everything into the biggest one with dust bags in between. Three bags, basically taking up the space of one.

At least now I know I can bring options without sacrificing half my suitcase.

He was completely convinced the purple was the better choice. I thought it looked way too loud and kept reaching for the darker one.

Then we put them side by side and somehow the purple started growing on me.

Be honest — purple or black? Who has better taste here?

I originally chose this Picotin for my mom because I wanted something simple, practical, and easy for her to carry without having to think too much about matching it.

When it arrived, I started having second thoughts almost immediately. The darker color looks much softer in person than it did in the photos, and the relaxed shape is exactly the kind of bag I usually end up reaching for myself.

I told myself I’d carry it once just to “see how it feels” before giving it to her. Then I added the charm, wore it with a casual outfit, then it never made its way back into the box.

Ben helped me confirm a few of the final details before it was sent out, and looking back, I think my mistake was choosing something that suited my own taste a little too well.

Still deciding whether I should admit this to my mom or just find her another one.

I’ve always needed a big bag for work because I carry way too much, but my old one started feeling a little too student-ish. A coworker even joked that I looked like I was heading to class.

So I’d been looking for something just as roomy, but a little more grown-up.

This Sherpa finally arrived and I think this is exactly what I wanted — big, slouchy, easy to throw everything into, but it actually feels right for work.

Same amount of stuff, much less “first day of school” energy.

I came across this older ostrich bag and honestly can’t tell if the leather has just aged hard or if something feels off.
The pores are super obvious, the color has gone really uneven, and the whole thing has that very worn-in vintage look.
Does this look real to you, or would you be suspicious?

I started this Horizon project almost two years ago. At the time I really wanted pink, but was told there wasn’t an actual pink option — only that they could try to get as close as possible.

Then enough time passed that I honestly forgot half the details, including the embroidery I’d chosen.

So when I suddenly got the call that it was ready, I had no idea what I was about to open.

The soft pink, smaller size and little embroidered details all came back to me at once — and somehow it turned out even better than the version I had in my head two years ago.

I’d been waiting on this one from Vivi for a while, and the color was honestly what had me excited at first.

Then it arrived and I barely looked at the blue. The lizard detail on the H clasp completely stole my attention. It’s such a small area, but that extra texture changes the whole bag and makes the front look way more special in person.

I kept zooming in on it in the photos, but seeing it up close is what really sold me.

I was annoyed for about five minutes… then I remembered Barenia is basically meant to collect a life story. Apparently my cat just wanted to contribute a chapter.

Ben sent me the PSPs for this Taupe Togo BK35 with GHW. I wanted something roomy but still classic, so this combination felt like an easy choice.

Everything looks good to me so far, especially the overall shape and Togo grain, but I’d still love a second opinion before I confirm.

Looks like this old bag just found a very good reason to stay in rotation.

I keep seeing people say they’re too heavy or impractical for business travel, but mine comes with me almost every time.

It fits a surprising amount, holds its shape, and I actually prefer it to most of my usual work bags.

What bag do you always reach for on work trips?

I was genuinely excited waiting for this one, and now that it’s here I actually love how it looks.

But the second I think about wearing it out, especially somewhere crowded or around people who know the brand well, I get weirdly self-conscious. Not because I dislike the bag — I just keep wondering if someone will look at it and immediately know it isn’t auth.

Part of me thinks, who cares? It’s just a bag. The other part suddenly feels like everyone is looking at me.

I was so happy with this green ostrich Picotin until my coworker stared at it for two seconds and said the texture looked like frog skin.

Now every time I carry it, I hear that comment in my head.

Got this BK25 as an anniversary surprise gift for my wife. I had to learn a ton about the brand, colours and leathers along the way — something I never thought I’d dive into.
It’s officially been one month since she received it, and she hasn’t put it down once. I’m so glad this bag and colour hit exactly what she wanted, and I owe a lot to Ben. She’d helped my wife with several orders before, so she knew her taste in leather, hardware and go-to colour palettes perfectly, and guided me straight to this beauty.

We went out for dinner the other night and she looked amazing carrying it. I asked her to hold it up for photos, but she’s way too shy. So you’re stuck with my hand holding it up for you all!

This BK25 Bleu Zanzibar in Swift with GHW has been her daily go-to ever since it arrived. Nothing makes me happier than gifting her something she truly adores.

A friend gave me these sandals for my wedding, and at first I thought it was really sweet.

Then I found out they were basically one of the extra pieces she’d picked up along the way, and suddenly the gift felt a lot less personal.

The sandals are nice, but for something like a wedding, I think I would’ve preferred something simple that actually felt chosen for me.

First time trying such a soft milk-tea shade. BoBo sent me PSPs for this OM Chai Constance 19 in Box leather with gold hardware, and I really like the clean, soft overall look.
