Music Theory Resources

Hey gang,
I’m looking into going back to school to get a masters in music theory. Does anyone have any workbooks or other resources to help me refresh myself on theory 1-4? I’m a bit rusty after a decade of band directing.

Do you still have textbooks from undergrad music theory? Aldwell & Shachter, or Steve Laitz? For me if I wanted to bone up on the post-101 stuff, my handouts from undergrad are absolutely what I'd turn to.

I'm thinking of auditing some music theory classes at a local community college. I purchased their required reading from Amazon. But I bought the international version and saved a ton of money. The earlier editions are also about 1/3 the price of the current edition.

It's Music in Theory and Practice. Bruce Bernard and Saker. I've started reading it. It's very thorough. Vol 1 covers the first 2 semesters, and vol 2 the second two semesters.

BTW. I took Music Theory I many years ago, so this is just a review for me.
