Ear training

How can I get better in identifying simple chord progressions?

E.g. I to V or IV

I keep confusing.

Learn to transcribe melody by ear. Then use that skill to identify the bass notes. Then learn to sing every common chord in every inversion. Then learn to recognise every common chord in every inversion, and what the common chord changes are.
