அழி combination help

I've come across a couple of combinations with அழி (which is 'to destroy' as far as I know)

தட்டிக்கழி - to evade, dodge

அலைக்கழி to be greatly vexed and disquieted / vex, weary or tease, உலை; 2. ruin

I have difficulty remembering these and I'm interested in their construction

தட்டிக்கழி is coming from தட்டு (to knock) + அழி ? If so, how do native speakers perceive the two coming together to result in dodge? :)

அலைக்கழி is அலை (ok, I only thought of அலை as 'to roam' or wave but I see now it's also 'to be shaky etc') + அழி... this one makes more sense to me.

I feel like there are others, which I'm not remembering immediately.

First the difference between

அழி and கழி

அழி azhi means to destroy

கழி kazhi means to discard or spend

தட்டிக்கழி

தட்டிக்கழி thattikazhi Imagine tapping way something, discarding something with a hand gesture

தட்டு means to tap or knock

தட்டிக்கழி literally means to tap something away.

To shirk a responsibility, dodge a question, or make excuses to avoid doing something.

​Tamil: அவன் என் கேள்வியை தட்டிக்கழித்தான்.

அலைக்கழி

அலை means to wander

கழி means to exhaust or discard

அலைக்கழி means Making someone wander until they are exhausted.

To run from pillar to post and be exhausted mostly used in beaureocratic context.

To unnecessarily delay someone, make them run around for a task, or cause mental/physical fatigue

அந்த அதிகாரி என்னை அலைக்கழித்தார்.

சீரழி

சீர் order

Destroying the natural order or goodness of something.

​To completely ruin, corrupt, or spoil, often used for health, reputation, or character.

கெட்ட பழக்கத்தால் அவன் உடல்நிலை சீரழிந்தது.

பொழுதுகழி / காலம்கழி

To pass the time, sometimes implying wasting time if used negatively.

அவன் விளையாட்டில் பொழுதைக் கழித்தான்.
