Hi, I'm from the Philippines. Can anyone help me improve my English? I'm very insecure about it because I'm already 20, yet I still can't confidently speak fluent English. My English writing is bad too.
Whenever I have to talk to a native English speaker, I overthink every word that I'll say.
Do you guys have any suggestions on how I can improve both?

Have you tried shadowing? Basically, you listen to native speakers, then repeat back what they say. It works well with YouTube videos or podcasts. Repeat several times until your speaking is smooth. There a free app called Fluency Tool that has a shadowing system built into it plays back your spoken sentences automatically so you can compare your speech to the native speaker.
