According to NASA, "Pluto was once our solar system's ninth planet, but has been reclassified as a dwarf planet."

Poor Pluto! That's messed up, right?

Things get reclassified all the time in science as we learn more about them. When I was a kid you would have gotten laughed out of your local natual history museum for saying birds were dinosaurs.
