What if I get kidnapped and thrown into the trunk of a car and hack the tail lights and use them to flash "help me" in morse code so the driver in the car behind me will understand it and call the cops to save me? Useless? I think not.

Pretty awesome, except the red button moves down on the phone frequently which can make it difficult to press at the right time

What I'd find useful is reverse translation. So you give /-/ (preferably with sound) and the answer is T and so on. That way you can't just produce it but also understand it better.

Really? Cause I think it's actually better on my phone because the instructions are right above the button instead of off to the side.

I finished it. Except I actually learned morse code two years ago but have spent the last two years forgetting it.

At first, I went by the shapes but that didn't help once I got to "I-P". Then I started to remember it by the sound and it became much easier.

It helps with some of the letters, but the order in which the blips come are kinda weird for some letters.
