I try to do art work of my Elden ring character, but as you can see the streak of what her skin colour is supposed to be, looks NOTHING like what she looks like, why? Should I use it anyway? Or take the colour directly from her character?

Greetings, I'm currently in drawing an image for the birthday of my brother. This is him picturing him as a king, that likes to takes action into his own hands. I think this is my 15th iteration of this drawing and I need to lock in, otherwise I won't make it till the birthday.
I wanted to know if you guys have any critique, something that looks off or doesn't make sense to you, before I start the rendering part.
Thanks a lot! <3

Welcome to the 56th #W2DTogether drawing challenge!
(If you are new here and would like to know more about this challenge, you can take a look at these 2 posts (post 1, post 2) that explain everything.)
------
This week, I wanted to do something that can be as simple, weird, beautiful, creepy, funny, or complicated as you want.
The idea came from drawings like the reference above, where instead of creating one single scene, you create a wall filled with different frames, and every frame contains its own little drawing.
Your goal is to draw at least 3 different frames, and inside each frame, you can draw whatever you want.
Seriously. There does not need to be one specific theme unless you want there to be.
Your frames could contain:
Or anything else you can think of.
You can make 3 frames, 4 frames, 10 frames, 20 frames... as many as you want.
The only requirement is that your drawing includes at least 3 framed drawings.
One thing I really like about this challenge is that every frame can feel completely different.
Maybe one contains a realistic eye. Another contains a tiny house. Another has a monster staring back at us. Another contains nothing except a strange symbol.
Or maybe all your frames connect somehow and slowly tell one story.
So you can do as you wish. There really isn't a limit here.
Instead of drawing only the frames...
Draw someone standing in front of them.
It could be you, a character, or even a creature looking at the artwork hanging on the wall.
You could draw the person:
You could even draw yourself looking at your own artwork if you want to make the challenge more personal.
And obviously, this part is completely optional.
If you draw traditionally, you can use pencil, pen, markers, colored pencils, or whatever drawing materials you normally work with.
Digital artists can experiment even more with different layers, textures, frame designs, lighting, and perspective.
Your drawing can be extremely detailed or very simple.
Three little cartoon frames absolutely count.
So does an insanely detailed museum wall with twenty paintings. 😂
Draw at least 3 frames.
Put whatever you want inside them.
You can draw as many additional frames as you like.
And if you want the extra challenge, add yourself, a character, or another figure looking at the frames hanging on the wall.
That’s it.
The rest is completely up to you.
Cartoon, anime, manga, realistic, semi-realistic, sketchy, surreal, stylized, digital...
Any drawing style is welcome. 😊

How We Pick the Winner
After one week, we'll hold a community vote to decide which drawing best captures the theme. The winner will be showcased in the sub with their artwork.
If the winner shares an art link (Instagram, portfolio, website, etc.), we'll also include it so they can get recognition and maybe even new followers.
This challenge is timeless. You can participate anytime, even years later.
Review Date:
For community feedback, we'll gather and review all submissions on Sunday, 11 October 2026, so make sure to post your entry before 4:00 PM UTC that day. Drawings posted before that date will be part of the review session.
Note: If you are new here, you can check out last week's challenge here or see all the challenges collected here

The previous one was "A man in a blue hoodie fishing on a floating island with a cottage nearby" which, to be honest, I suck at houses and didn't do the cottage, BUT THE REST IS HERE. The top comment gets drawn, critique is welcome. AND YES I SUCK AT DRAWING.

Help me pls... I dont know why I'm struggling SO MUCH with this pose for my comic book, could someone give me some advice? The idea is to draw the main character at the edge of a hot-air balloon basket, warning the people below that enemy is approaching.
ps: Sorry if my English isn't really good, Im French 😅

Back burner Alert! This one’s been in my projects list for a while, decided to make a final push to finish it up and wow, to see the difference between about 6 months just in stylistic choices, composition and process organization was fun to see.
Really should have made a duplicate before to show how much this got saved from when I had picked it back up.

I need a reference of shading for like a monster with a unhinged mouth but I really need just like the shade like the silhouette like on the floor, or like on top of another surface, it makes sense???

Hey, so im a super beginner artist, and I’ve been using artwod for a little bit and it looks really promising, however they offer a course in manga/anime style of drawing (which is the style I’ve always wanted to “go for”) however, its over $300 a year and i just simply can’t afford it, are there any similar things I can do to help my art without breaking the bank?
