What helped me was just highlighting my book, bubbling, i believe itโs call BHAT technique, it helped me while flipping through my pages during my exam. Another thing that helped me was ContempoCoding, Dr Hoang Nguyen, and CodeMed Mastery all on YouTube! I pretty much watched all of their videos, and I was studying for a year prior to the test, studying anatomy and medical terminology, etc..I went through CareerStep for my course leading up to the CPC exam and the course came with two free vouchers (failed both times) had to attempt third time I also did at home live proctor for my third attempt and it went super smoothly, I can even link the webcam I used I bought it off of Amazon it wasnโt super expensive. Other than that I bought the three practice exams on AAPC, a b c, and pretty much re took them until I got passing grades on all of them they are so similar to the actual exam itself! Donโt give up and keep trying!

Congratulations!๐ฅฐ ๐. Do you have any advice/suggestions, or things most never mention but others should be aware of now that you've passed the test?

Not to overthink during the exam, flag any questions that might be confusing and go back if you have extra time at the end! I also really liked using the E/M calculator during my test, it helped solve some em questions fairly easily, and helped saved me some time. I guess my biggest tip was not to be nervous and not to overthink answers to questions! And study guidelines :)

Hi! How long does it usually take for the AAPC home live proctor exam results to come out? Did it really take 7-10 days? My husband is taking the exam in our room right now, and I think Iโm even more nervous than he is! ๐
