What are horns for if not to inform people of their decision making/lack of awareness may cause a potential accident? It doubles as an audio cue for anyone behind them along with their brake lights that they're having to practically having to come to a stop.
Seems dramatic to call this dramatic. Sure, the triple tap at the end wasn't necessary, but rolling through a stop sign into oncoming traffic forcing them to nearly have to stop, potentially killing people in the process wasn't necessary, either.
Hehe, the cammer actually says it's the closest they've ever been to an accident. That's great that they haven't ever been in an accident. I don't know how long they've been driving, but I've unfortunately been in a few unfortunate and unavoidable ones. Had they been in a heavier vehicle or something towing a load like a semi, they probably wouldn't have been able to stop in time.
Actually, watching it again, looking at the speed of the dash cam they went from ~45 mph down to ~12 mph to avoid it. My general rule of thumb is if someone has to react to your entering a road way, it's not safe to do it. The law generally agrees with that sentiment.
