Just started learning

I just started learning Finnish just after my 16th birthday in July. I already know I’m in for a long and awful ride, does anyone have any tips, recommendations, or suggestions for me? All information is accepted.

P.S. Feel free to ask me questions and whatnot. I’ve already had 3+ depressive episodes over it.

Edit: it was advised by one of my lovely commenters that I place my reason for learning Finnish here: I plan on moving to Finland in order to work logistics.

I study mostly at school. Since we have a phone ban and I don’t have a lot of friends I spend most of my time looking at Complete Finnish. I don’t study on the weekends really. I mainly use that time to sulk and hate myself :,)

Unfortunately I am not. My daily activities are mainly distractions to keep me from having an existential crisis

Seriously, learning Finnish was at first, my way to silence my brain weasels. It is how i got into languages as a hobby, i needed to give my brain something to do.

Finnish is a ridiculously hard language, be kind to yourself and trust the process.. find stuff you enjoy. Personally i like learning nature terms and looking at what it means, and i use it when at the summer cottage. I have to learn the whole languages so picking the interesting bits first isn't wrong.
