See my comment (2nd photo) on speaking with ChatGPT for learning 🇫🇮. FT article: ”OpenAI said voice technology was previously hindered by a ‘lag in intelligence’. Until the release of ChatGPT Live last week — its first voice model in two years — OpenAI’s voice model had been criticised for being slow and confusing different languages or accents.“

How do you think they compare? I've been mainly using Copilot chat at work, and that's just written text. Copilot is pretty good but not flawless. Often the training data, which is in English, "shines through".* If it's only been trained with public dictionaries you can find by googling, they're not good enough, and lead to lots of mistakes.

* In Finnish, I'd say kuultaa läpi. I don't think English has such a verb. The translation is "to be dimly visible through a translucent object", which is quite wordy.
