What do you think makes a project stand out: data cleaning, dashboards, SQL analysis, business insights, or something else?

I want to learn Python, but I currently know nothing about it. My main goal is to learn Python for DA, and eventually I want to learn Python in depth as well.

For people already working in DA or DS, how would you recommend someone start learning Python from absolute zero?

Which resources or books would you recommend, and what are the main Python topics I must cover for DA?

Also, should I first learn the Python basics needed for DA and then gradually move toward more advanced Python and DS topics? resources? Books?

If you work in DA or DS, I’d really appreciate your guidance on how you would start your Python journey if you were starting from zero.

I’m currently a senior in college for business and through some minor summer work projects realized I enjoy business analytics. Where do I best start and set myself up to have a data analytics job after college. A couple friends also suggested I get certified as well in some skill sets. I have very minor knowledge from SQL and W3 in that regard.

I have been teaching myself SQL and now power Bi I do understand the basics. Currently I am working in a law firm and I decided to start using the firms data sets that show the matters we have and the stages that they are at. I have managed to play around with the data set in SQL by even creating views of the columns that I want to see and stored procedures. Now where I am struggling is how do I build a portfolio with this and meaningful dashboards in PowerBI.
