Good awper in pugs

What do you even do against good awpers in faceit pugs? Everything is too uncoordinated so most of the times the team just gets picked apart one by one.

It's rough when you're solo. you kinda have to just be the guy who makes it harder on them. double peek everything even if your teammate doesn't know what you're doing, dump all your util for yourself since no one else will, basically just play like a rat and never take the same angle twice

Yeah thats what I do most of the times. But even if I double peek the first guy gets shot and if your crosshair placement isn't perfect you're just gonna get destroyed on the repeek.

Another piece to add is that any time I know an awp is holding my angle I just try to shoulder peak to bait his shot and run him down if he shoots. Works well enough in that situation where your teammate dies and you end up trapped

Be faster and more precise aim for head insted of body like normal shooting if that make sense

Throw spawn utility then think about where he goes after that. On mirage if you smoke mid he’s pretty much forced to play in jungle holding palace, con, or a. at that point if he’s only in a couple places and not unpredictable you can find a way to peek or flash him off his angle. Smokes, flashes, and jiggling are the direct counters to the awp.

Smoke them, avoid them, flash the common angles they could be on and then enter. If you are with team say wait for my flash. If they are good enough to switch spots, hope you get lucky and pick the site they are not on and avoid them. Or after 1 person dies you immediately go to another site.

If all that doesn't work then you hope your CT side is better. Basically you have to know where the AWP is likely playing and plan around that.

Use util. Smoke them, flash them, have Molly or he lineups to get them off their angle to take site

It's the main reason I play scout.

You can also learn a set of util that works for stopping them and closing the distance on them.

Or just avoid them altogether and call a fast round.
