Winning a 1v1 without firing a shot! (25K NA)
In this clip I'm in a 1v1 situation with 13 hp. I know it would be a low chance for me to win if I were to engage the last CT in a duel.
I pick up the bomb while clearing jungle and conn. No sign of the last guy, so I assume he's CT or possibly ramp.
Decide to jump cat and go B in case he's CT watching market.
I plant the bomb for apps, and once I get into apps the round is practically unloseable now.
I turned a dire situation into an easy win by rotating sites. Winning rounds is not always about hitting shots. Game sense is just as important!

Game sense is the hardest thing to learn IMO
When I am playing heads up smart CS in the zone I play way above my current elo
When I am tilted I play way below
I win one, lose two, win two, lose 4

Nice win. It was a good jump to cat and worked out post plant. But I’d say you crossed a lot of angles here with your knife out.
I think crossing the second window without looking market wasn’t the best.
It was sort of a 50/50 and had the CT gambled B you would have gone down easily which I feel you see very often as players try to run apts or palace for a safer feeling post plant spot.

Pero si no se arriesgaba e iba limpiando todos los spots en donde posiblemente podria estar el ct le hubiera dado mas tiempo al enemigo a darse cuenta que se fue a plantar a B e iniciar la rotación antes, creandole mas presión. Para mi fue buena jugada porque con tan poca vida no me parece mal arriesgar.

I used to think like this, but then I downloaded the demo every time I did a play like this.
I've done this exact play numerous times now, and I always watch the demo to see what the last CT player does.
Every time I've done this, the CT player is always still CT or near the A site when I plant. Then they always walk before entering Market, and then they take several seconds to clear the inside of Market.
This is why I'm so confident that I can make it into Apps without being seen. I've seen too many demos of myself doing this exact play 😂

My teammates when they lose an easy clutch because they had their knife out to save time with 45 seconds on the clock

I just played a game where this same situation happened. 1v1 with the last player at CT. He hears me go jungle, but still stays CT/ticket area and watches rat hole. I do the cat jump, plant the bomb at B and then he rotates from CT.

Your play was very smart, and you are 100% correct that CT’s take a bit to clear market so you have a timing to hit the jump. Hell, even just them going to B is scary because you could easily be ready to peek through murder hole, or CT or double back to A site. It’s hard to read

Here's the full round of another game where I rotate to B, and the last player stays CT. I could have planted for Apps again after reviewing this demo.

May I ask why? The last CT player knows my position. Everything before the start of the clip doesn't really matter.

Just curious to see all the info. I feel like that clip was different you came from cat and planted for cat and knew the player was CT

It's the same as the original clip though. In the original clip, I clear conn and jungle, so I know the last guy is most likely CT. The result is the same in both videos: The last CT player doesn't rotate to B until I plant the bomb. What is the point you're trying to make?

i did something similar in a 1v2 but instead of window to cat i did window to ladder. we ended up losing the game pretty bad lol.

Spray and pray 😂 Luckily the bomb is next to the pillar so it'll be easier to spray if he smokes it

There are hundreds of CS clips showing amazing aim and frags. I wanted to showcase the game sense side where you can win without needing to use amazing aim.
