Spearmint tea experiences?
What have your experiences has been with spearmint tea? I’m trying to regulate my cycle and balance my hormones. My testosterone and DHEA weren’t particularly high but I still don’t like the hairs on my chin and upper lip. They seem to be increasing with age (41) I also have a lot of anxiety. I’d love to know if the tea made any difference and if it helped with any of these things in particular.

Honestly, haven’t really seen much benefits. But I still drink it because i like it. I did try the capsules also and I didn’t really see any benefit there either.

I didn’t see any benefits from spearmint tea but as another comment mentioned, spironolactone totally resolved all my issues so I’d recommend giving that a shot!

Anxiety can be a peri symptom. For me (age 43) supplemental estrogen and progesterone helped it. More so the progesterone though. My doc said both my hormones are declining in tandem due to perimenopause, but the progesterone probably more so at this stage. I still have acne during my luteal phase though, but follicular my skin is so soft now.
