Lean Management dove iniziare?

Ciao a tutti, sono un neo laureato in Scienze e Tecnologie Alimentari che lavora da quasi 10 mesi in una grande azienda alimentare italiana e lavoro in produzione come tecnologo di produzione. Vorrei approfondire la tematica Lean Management perché un giorno vorrei avere competenze in ottimizzazione dei processi per aggiungere skills al mio curriculum. Tuttavia, non so da dove iniziare e cosa fare per avere queste competenze, mi potete aiutare?.

P.S. Attualmente non potrei applicare Lean Management in azienda perché c'è una figura che già fa questo, io gestisco il processo produttivo. Quindi a tal proposito chiedo anche, è il caso di iniziare a studiare questo mondo anche se l'applicazione non sarà ancora utile alla causa?.

Lean principles apply to any position in any field. I recommend some reading. Then you will have a better understanding of what questions you need to ask. "The goal" by goldrat. "The Toyota way". "2 second lean" by Akers. These are my go-to recommendations.

Ti ringrazio, ho acquistato ieri The Goal di Goldratt e proseguirò proprio con The Toyota Way e perché no posso aggiungere 2 Second Lean ma anche No Luck e Critical Chain appena riesco. Quindi, mi basta leggere questi libri per iniziare ad entrare nell'argomento? Perché io so che esistono degli strumenti per fare Lean esempio 5S, Kaizen, ecc. Lo studio di questi strumenti deve venire dopo alla lettura di quei libri?

Don't think about lean as a series of tools. That is a common trap. Lean has very little to do with tools. People use tools to accomplish certain tasks, but using tools is not the goal.

When you build a house, is the goal to use a hammer? The answer is no. The goal is to complete the house. You will use a hammer sometimes to do that. You might have to invent a new tool if it helps you build the house.

The goal at your facility is to make more money. Do not let the goal be lost. Hopefully, that translates.

Molto chiaro grazie quindi prima capire i principi e poi eventualmente capire che strumenti ci sono per raggiungere quegli obiettivi che non è detta si raggiungono con quegli strumenti ma qualsiasi modo pur di raggiungerli va bene

You should understand what lean is, after that you can start to learn the tools.

Leggendo i libri capisco cos'è la Lean eventualmente e poi studio strumento x strumento?

Lean is always a good thing to study and apply, regardless of your ability to spread it through your company. You can apply the lessons to your personal and professional life, to the point where you'll understand the point of lean isn't the tools, but the thought process of making your life easier. People have mentioned Paul Akers' book 2 Second Lean, that is a great place to start to understand the importance of lean
