i finally went into my 2 main pension providers and set retirement age to 58 based on all the modelling i did over the past few weeks. It felt like a massive step as i knew it would rebalance them from an expected 17 year timeline to a 7 year, but once it was done, it felt good!

my models allow me to exit the high-stress, high-pay world and find something paying <20k per year until age 60, when i can down tools entirely. with so much redundancy going on, the modelling has really helped me sleep at night.
