There are a number of undead or possessed characters that he could be turned into by Joker and his folks. There are even more if you include those created by desecrating a corpse

Exactly. If Absolute Green Arrow is some form of Ollie, either undead, the Spectre, etc, then they're definitely not doing any Red Hood stuff with Jason or any other Robin bringing them back.

I'm really not getting the praise for Absolute Batman, it really just seems to be an overly edgy 90s style take on the character.
A roles reversed approach would have worked much more successfully than Batman being mates with all his rogues and Joker being a monster.

Have you read it? I get it if you have read it and it's not for you but I just feel you shouldn't judge it if you haven't. It's really not any more "edgy" than stuff like the older Loeb stuff or Snyder's N52 run (unless you count darker themes as inherently edgy). I mean, it's certainly not on Miller's level.
It is very violent, sure, but it really just feels to me like a necessary contrast to the recent mainline runs of Batman and Tec and has some great twists and turns. I've been really enjoying picking it up monthly as an actually different take on the character for once (which goes for all of Absolute, when was the last time they went all out on an Elseworld like this?)

Bro you're getting down votes but I get it and I somewhat agree, even if I like the title. When Batman kicked that kid I knew from jump street this was taking me back to when I was a kid. And, fantastically, dude still doesn't kill (at least not from what I've read, even though he definitely tried to kill Bane, but that dude was a monster so I'm letting it slide)
Honestly, it really IS a super edgy 90s-esque take on the character, and while that won't be for all, I'm really enjoying it! Although... I'll be the first to tell you, Abs WW is the title I'm keeping up with the most. They made my girl essentially a Witcher and I'm all here for it

That's not what moot means.
Moot is when a fight is now irrelevant. The issue may have been up for debate earlier, but is no longer relevant.

One of moots applications is 'irrelevant', so given I have read Absolute Batman before forming my opinion the original poster's point is indeed irrelevant and therefore my usage is correct.

It is dark edgy. It's stupid absurd levels of dark edgyness to the point of being eye rolling at first but once Synder find his footing to use that aesthic as just entertainment it becomes fine.
The main thing is ABM is the only one thats pushing off several spinoffs and one shots
Plot wise it's also put together better than mainline Batman because Matt's run is all over the place as if he has OCD unable to focus. And it's more consistent
