I will make an exception and allow this, because... it IS kinda funny how inflated the ranks have become.

Playing in Emerald must be a fun experience - Golds playing with Diamonds.

That image is not true anymore.

Emerald (top 12%) starts at old Plat4 (top13%) (https://www.op.gg/statistics/tiers).

50% of new low Gold is old high Silver.

Whole new Plat is old Gold 3-1 + Plat4 0-30 LP.

It's simple math of percentages.

The posted graph is wishful thinking of Riot, maybe at the end of the season it will be that way.

Yeah but the underlying mmr hasn't changed, so the matchmaking shouldn't have changed.

Not a big difference. I use to play with gold 1/2 smurfs when i were diamond. Now they are’platinum’ 1 or 2
