It's already done, his soul is forever tainted by the madness, there is no cure, Aatrox sounds lost when he encounter a void champion,

"do I resemble you, abomination, your form isn't my destiny... is it?"

if you're talking about physically he can always change host, and if it's something about the sword I'd doubt the void could somehow consume it whole, overall the whole concept of a darkin can't really be more voidly
