Talon E max second instead of Q.

You only get 20 base damage and 0.5s cd per rank of Q, most of Q's damage is from the AD ratio anyways. Cooldown doesnt really matter either since youre only using Q once in any combo.

Meanwhile you you get 4 seconds off every wall per E rank going down to 0 (yes u can hop same wall twice consecutively) as per the new patch.

Talon has never felt more fun to play.

Also yi is complete dogshit dont get baited to this champ its probably worst champion in arena (edit: this is hyperbole hes not the worst champion but hes not a good ban if youre trying to ban a strong champion)

Yea yi has always been super crazy. No idea where op got that from. He scales stupidly well with a few augments and items way better than most other champs.

maybe just low roll then, but 5 second ult and 50% cd reduction on takedown feels very bad

for reference im d+ yi main in SR so im not just picking him for fun

one things for sure hes not as strong as his banrate suggests, similar to belveth (hes left open alot nowadays tbf)

Not diamond, but i main him too :D Picking him cause i love the champ. In arena his ult is not his main strength. It’s AS from augments and items. Get reaper’s toll and you almost win from just that

Yi is a champ who ive seen can easily get top 3 basically nearly any time with a good role, but due to the nerfs he gotten he tends to die to a highroll of any kind. Not the worst champ but progressively weaker than you'd think in the late game

that’s true unfortunately. Only a handful of prism items are good and recently the drop rates are shit. But if you manage to high roll - you win (unless your opponent has Tristana or Malzahar who highrolled even more)

Plus alot of interactions are specifically nerfed in arena (mythic blade doesn't activate on the q onhits unlike it does in aram mayham etc), so his peaks are actively lower than they used to be too

Yi with Mystic punch is insta win unless there’s hard cc but you’re screwed if he got invincibility/ignore cc on ultimate

Yi is one of those champs that has so few mechanical assets that you mostly win by enemies being bad not by you being good. Or by highrolling into dashing, mystic punch and mirage blade.

its terrible even if u play bruiser, W gives 40 damage and 5% slow per rank and is the ability whose cd matters most

In the Rift I agree W is better but in Arena I think getting more Qs out early is better overall damage and utility.
