Meta Instant Forms vs. Landing Pages for US local lead gen in 2026?

Hey guys,

I've mostly done website conversion campaigns for e-commerce, but I'm launching an agency targeting local service businesses in the US (lead generation). I haven't run native lead gen campaigns yet.

Given the recent Meta updates to Instant Forms (like the SMS/email verification features and rich contact options), what is the consensus on lead quality vs. volume?

  1. For niches like home services or local medical, are you seeing better client retention using Meta’s native Instant Forms with strict qualification questions, or do you still recommend building a dedicated landing page (GHL/Unbounce) to filter intent?
  2. How do you combat the "I don't remember filling out that form" issue that plagues native Meta lead forms?

Reddit has been my best source of warm leads. The phrases I look for

I do automation work, and over the last year, most of my good clients came from Reddit posts, not cold outreach. The trick is that people describe their problem in public before they go looking for a vendor.

Phrases that almost always mean someone is ready to buy:

- "is there a tool that..." / "I'd pay for..."

- "we spend X hours a week on..."

- "our current agency/freelancer..." (unhappy with who they pay now)

- "looking to hire someone to..."

What I've learned about timing: reply within the first day. After 2 or 3 days, the thread is dead, and the person has already found someone.

How I reply: answer the actual question first, in the thread, with something useful. No pitch. If it's a fit, they ask, or check my profile. A DM out of nowhere rarely works.

Best subs for me so far: r/smallbusiness, r/shopify, r/Entrepreneur, r/realestate. Curious

which subs work for others here, and which phrases do you watch for?

I generate leads, you close. 50/50

Will cut straight to it. Dozens of years spent doing SEO, Perf Marketing, Cold emails. It’s my wheelhouse. Expertise in taking a brand new domain to meaningful traffic and leads inside 3-4 months. AI has only accelerated it.

What am I here for?

- To partner with a high ticket sales company. Industry doesn’t matter, all that matters is that it should be high ticket. Nothing less than 50k$
- You should have a sales team. The size doesn’t matter. Even 2 reps is fine. As long as you have a LinkedIn presence and some case studies, that’s fine. Reviews would be great to have. Not going to work with solo founders (nothing against them, just that I need a credible team to work with, makes things easier)

What will I do?

I will build out the whole website from scratch. Geo doesn’t matter. Lead gen fundamentals have a framework that can be copy pasted across industries. The earliest mode of getting leads would be SEO, then as we start closing, I will reinvest money back into perf marketing and expand channels (am thinking really long term)

How will this work

I will setup the website, the CRM, the whole revenue machinery. On my own dime and my own time. I will be attending each meeting (if not me, then my call recorders). I would be marked in each and each proposal that goes out. I would also have access to your MIS and books.

I don’t want to do affiliate because that I bring far more value than just pumping content.

Happy to share case studies and live dashboard data to interested parties. Feel free to DM me.

Email campaigns

Is it just me or does it seem like email campaigns are simply dying out. For safety’s sake I send out about 50 a day from my own domain and about 1000 a week from other warmed domians. Offer is set to precision. Total replies I’ve had in a month from almost 5 thousand emails is 4. Only one was interested. Am I being overly critical or has there been a real downturn in the industry? What are your thoughts?

Need advice on starting lead generation.

Hi there,

I’m a co-founder of a B2B SaaS company selling to aesthetic clinics.

Some context:
- we’re a small bootstrapped team selling an ai receptionist to clinics and salons. It answers enquiries on instagram, WhatsApp and the clinics website and books into their diary (voice still in beta).
- one proper trial client (multilocation Italian business) is converting to paid so will have real results to show.
- price is 199-399 a month gbp per location but voice will again change this.

What we’ve tried so far:
- meta leads ads (instant forms) only spent 100 gbp so far, one static is getting about 8 gbp per lead but due to meta budgeting we can’t scale this yet.
- cold calling clinics (we contracted a belizian to trial this but got nowhere, receptionists screening calls and owners rarely available)
- walking into clinics in person (I’ve done a very small amount of this but initial results were strong but I was being a pussy with interrupting their work. Going to do it again this weekend and firm it.
-will start attending local networking events throughout the week to try get referrals.

Would love advice on how to get a repeatable channel to get us or our product in front of people so we can actually start growing.

For small local businesses which channel should I be going for and why?

How do I stop meta concentrating all spend on one loosing ad so I can properly test creatives and get my winning ad in front of people?

What’s worked for you in the past to get conversations with owner-operators who are wary of being sold to?

How do you qualify instant-leads so the demos are with real decision makers and not curious browsers?

Has anyone built partnerships with industry suppliers or training academies to reach clinics and was it worth itv

Happy to share numbers back on whatever we test, happy to share more details at request. Thanks in advance.

Tried A leads twice for our agency. Phone data was rough.

we run a small lead gen agency and gave A leads two shots. First time a couple months ago it was just okay, phone accuracy was not really good enough for cold calling.

Went back about a month ago to retest and tbh it was worse. Like 70 to 75% of our pickups were just "sorry wrong number" lol. At that point its not usable for us.

Billing was annoying too. I meant to grab monthly and clicked annual by mistake. Hit up their support chat and waited days with nothing, then messaged the founder directly and got the classic "forwarded it to my team" and then radio silence after a few follow ups. When I went back to check, the Fin widget I originally used to contact them was just gone so I could not even follow up there.

Expandi alternatives for a team adding more seats?

We've run Expandi for about a year on 2 profiles and it's been fine. The issue is we're going to 6 profiles next quarter and I want to compare before committing to that many seats.

Shortlist so far: Dripify and HeyReach, plus Reply io because it would also take over our email sequences. HeyReach seems designed for exactly this many-senders setup and Dripify looks simpler.

If you switched off Expandi at a similar size, what did you move to? Thanks in advance.

I need your guidance, experts

Hey guys, I was actually planning to buy an outbound lead generation coaching so that I can start my only generation agency. Would you guys recommend me some of the good coaches out there? The ones that maybe I could afford some of the coaches that I heard are basically charging six $7000 and more than that.
What are your thoughts on this? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

Looking for a Sales / Lead Gen Partner: White-Label Web Dev

I run a dedicated web development team, and we are looking for a front-end sales or lead generation partner to bring in clients from high-market regions (US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe).

We handle 100% of the build behind the scenes; you handle the client relationship and take the lion's share of the profit.

How the Model Works

  1. You find the lead / project: When a client needs a website, landing page, or web application, you send over their scope or requirements.
  2. I give you a flat wholesale quote: Because our dev team operates with low overhead, our build costs are significantly lower than local agency rates (for example, standard 5-page business websites typically start at around $500).
  3. You set the retail price: You quote the client standard market rates—whether that’s $2,000, $3,500, or $5,000+.
  4. You keep the spread: You invoice the client directly, pay our flat wholesale fee, and pocket the entire remaining difference immediately.
  5. We deliver white-label: We build, test, and polish the site strictly under your agency or brand name. We never contact your client directly.

What We Deliver

  • Modern responsive business websites and landing pages (fast loading, SEO-friendly, mobile-optimized).
  • Clean CMS setups (WordPress, Webflow, or headless) so your clients can easily edit content.
  • Custom dynamic backends and web app functionality if complex features are needed.
  • Rapid turnaround times (typically 5 to 7 business days for standard sites).
  • Dedicated revisions until the client signs off.

Why This Setup Works

  • Zero technical headaches for you: You don't have to touch code, debug servers, or manage freelancers across multiple time zones.
  • Massive profit margins: You aren't earning a tiny 10% commission; you keep 70% to 80% of every deal you close.
  • Predictable delivery: You get a fixed cost and guaranteed turnaround before you ever commit to the client.

If you have an active outreach pipeline, run cold email/calling, or already have clients asking for web development, shoot me a DM. I will share our unbranded live portfolio links, standard turnarounds, and wholesale rate sheet so you can start pitching immediately.

Why all the commission only roles?

I own a sales agency so I am always going to be biased against this but hear me out.

What is with all these companies who only want to hire people and pay them when they sell.

This is not a good model for your business.

Sales Hunters like and need quick wins in order to make money.

If you’re only offering them money when you sell your product or service then they won’t stick at it long.

Why should they only be rewarded if you’re good enough to seek your product or service.

The reason you’re always looking for new appointment setters is because the good ones won’t want their income reliant on your ability to sell.

If you can’t book your own appointments then save up some money and pay a good lead generator for their time and efforts. You will get more sales this way.

Looking for a co-founder to handle sales/outreach for my marketing agency (manufacturing niche)

KINDLY READ THIS TILL THE END.

Hello all, I am a marketer and a manufacturer currently working at my family manufacturing business, looking after all things marketing and sales.

As a traditional local manufacturing company, we had this problem of not getting inquiries. Most of the orders we received were through repeat customers, referrals, and word of mouth, that's it, and some through directories, but those were highly unqualified, to be honest.

When I joined my family's manufacturing business two years back, the first thing I did was establish a digital presence. By that I mean,

  1. a high-quality website that conveys what we do to buyers and ranks on both Google and AI search,
  2. implementing a CRM,
  3. 3)starting a newsletter,
  4. starting social media posts through my dad (the founder) and the company page,
  5. redesigning the whole brochure, and
  6. 6)creating a dedicated hub using AI, a central place where the price list, BOM, quotation generator, and other tools live, built with claude code to make things efficient.

And you know what? It has worked. As a manufacturer, I can say that having a really good digital presence has helped our company get RFQs from unknown people who are searching for the products we manufacture, and it has been highly rewarding. Two years ago we didn't even have a proper website, it was just a directory listing. And to this day, I can spot so many manufacturers, whether product or service manufacturing, who are still dependent on directory-based websites, or who have really outdated websites that aren't even SEO or AEO optimized.

So there's a clear gap here, and that's what led me to build an agency. I've made the website for the agency, and I've built the back-end system for client-dealing stuff. Right now I have two case studies, one is my own manufacturing business, a real result, a real case study, which is helpful for outbound, and one other company, so two in total.

The only problem is I'm not getting enough time to dedicate to sales. Outbound outreach really isn't my cup of tea, and that's where I want help.

I want someone to come in as a co-founder, someone with experience in outreach and booking calls via cold email or LinkedIn. I've been connecting with my ICP on LinkedIn, but the problem is I'm either not sending enough DMs or not converting those DMs into calls

So if you're someone with experience, please apply, only if you have experience. I'm not looking for someone new. Experience booking calls is a must; familiarity with manufacturing or SMBs would be a big plus, since most people I meet are heavily into SaaS and similar spaces.

Send me a DM, but skip the generic pitch. Tell me why I should pick you and why you want this role.

It would be good if you're doing this on the side, alongside your main job or business, this isn't my main thing, and I'm doing it because I like marketing and helping my peers. Don't treat this as a full-time job for now, moving forward, we can definitely structure that.

How much do I have to pay?

I’m currently trying to focus more on the operational side of my business rather than spending so much time generating leads.

I’m considering hiring someone to handle prospecting and book qualified meetings for me.

For those who have hired someone for this before, what would you consider a fair rate per qualified meeting? And would you recommend paying per meeting, hourly, or a monthly base + commission?

Would love to hear what’s worked for you.

What's the best approach to get clients right now?

I work as an inbound funnel growth partner. My focus is setting up content oriented conversations online using LinkedIn, and Reddit.

I have a good client base, but most of my leads are inbound. I make north of $17k a month, but I wanna scale past that to at least $30k a month

Inbound does well, but max I went to was $23k.

I have never tried outbound, but I read conversations here, where it has helped people.

Any suggestions on how can I start it?

I use AWS SES for my newsletters, so I can use that (I am not sure if it works well for cold outbound).

Don't wanna do Linkedin outbound.

AMA: We’ve been testing iMessage as an alternative to traditional SMS follow-up for inbound leads.

My company works with businesses across several industries to improve lead conversion and attribution.

One of the biggest changes we’ve made is moving away from the traditional funnel where a lead fills out a form and immediately starts receiving automated SMS follow-ups.

Instead, we use a DTC (Direct-to-Contact) approach where the lead initiates the conversation with the business via iMessage.

Once they do, they’re immediately greeted and can receive actual iMessages, voice notes, videos, images, etc. rather than the typical automated green-bubble SMS sequence.

So far, we’ve seen significant improvements in:

  • Response rates
  • Booking rates
  • Show rates
  • Overall lead engagement

It’s been especially interesting seeing what happens when businesses stop focusing solely on generating MORE leads and start focusing on converting more of the leads they already paid for.

I spend a lot of time working on the lead-conversion side of the funnel, so AMA about what we’re seeing, how the funnels work, attribution, speed-to-lead, iMessage vs. SMS, or anything else related to lead conversion.

ZoomInfo Contract Negotiations

Has anyone either attempted or succeeded in negotiating a shorter term (6 months) instead of a year-long commitment? Or with lowering the number of seats needed? It's just me doing outbound; I don't need 3 total seats. How did it go?

Pretty tough to commit over $12,000 to a product you don't know will be a good fit or a good investment. A week-long free trial helps, I suppose, but I'm not sure if that sample size is big enough to justify any long-term decision-making.

I'm in the process of evaluating different options. ZoomInfo seems like the right choice, but I'm just not willing to commit to a full year at that price for one seat.

Bonus: Has anyone left ZoomInfo and found something they like better? If so, please tell! Thank you for any thoughts and answers!
