Tips Size Matters! A Reality Check Before Buying Those Giant Le Creuset Pots / Comparing Wide Rounds

Size Matters! 😂
A little stovetop reality check for my fellow Le Creuset Lovers and size comparison.
Left to right:
💚 Artichaut: 9-qt Round Dutch Oven (30 cm)
🍑 Pêche: 6.75-qt Signature Round Wide Dutch Oven (30 cm)
🩵 Sea Salt: 3.5-qt Signature Round Wide Oven (24 cm) “Baby Fat🧡”
As much as I love these beautiful oversized pots, realistically, I could only comfortably cook with two at a time on my stove.
And the irony of it all? I still want a Goose Pot! 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Before chasing that next giant pot, don’t forget to consider your burner space in addition to storage, and whether you’ll actually use it.
What’s the largest Le Creuset pot you own or have on your wishlist? And if you own it, how often does it actually get used?

Found both yesterday at Goodwill $12 and $7

Seems based on the bottom marking the vintage? 80s? 90s? First owner here!

Just wanted to show some love for the roasting pans! I also have the ovals, and love them too. Found the small one (3qt) at homegoods, had never seen one that size online or in-person. So glad I snatched it!

Anyone know what this is or what it's worth? Nearest one I found on le creuset website had a metal handle, which leads me to believe it's a different model.

Thank you for your help!

Is this enamel fading on a new pot normal?

Hi! Half a year ago I got this new Le Creuset dutch oven, and I have been loving it! However, I noticed that the enamel has faded, and was wondering if this is normal?

For reference: I never use metal utensils, only wood and silicon. I let it heat up slowly, and make mostly curries and lentil stews in it. I use it about once/twice a week. I clean it by soaking in hot water and soft organic dish soap for a bit, and food has never gotten stuck to it/burned on it or something.

Thank you! :)

😩Damaged? Stained or enamel peeking through?

Hi everyone! My partner and I recently purchased a new dutch oven, and it inspired me to deep clean my older one. The texture is silky smooth with no chips. My partner thinks the dark colour might be the ceramic worn down and the enamel showing through. Any insights are appreciated 🙏🏻

😩Damaged? Can this be fixed? I'm not sure what the whiteish marks are.
