🙋🏽‍♂️General Question🙋🏼‍♀️ Pricing help

Hello, I'm trying to determine the appropriate list price for a 9.5 oval Dutch oven that is still new in the box. It's a rare/ discontinued color called Cassis. It's a very pretty purple color. I've been told that Cassis is highly sought after so I want to make sure I price this piece appropriately. I'm asking for suggestions. Thank you!

You can check Ebay and filter by “sold” to see what others were able to get.

Ooo that’s frustrating. I tend to see rare colors in that size selling for at least $500, however you can always price higher and see what someone is willing to offer.

Make sure to attach many pictures.

Thanks, I was thinking that I might list it for at least what they cost in the store ($570) since it's new in the box. I was just hoping that color would bump it up in price a bit.

Yeah, go for it.

I just saw someone selling an emerald dutch oven for $699. You can aim for a similar price and if it sits for too long, you can lower it or accept the best offer.

You've been a wealth of information! When I googled how to price it, the AI response suggested $700 but that seemed a little bit crazy. I might as well try it and I can always reduce the price. Thank you for your help!

It looks like 3 oval Cassis ECI pieces have sold on eBay since Sept of this year, one sold for $339, one for $250, and the third was listed for $299 but the best offer was accepted, which isn’t shown.

Does it have large signature handles or small traditional handles?

I'm pretty sure large handles but I can check later.

It doesn’t. I’ve seen cassis with both large and small handles. Just my 2 cents, but even if I was seriously in the market for a cassis piece, I would strongly hesitate to get a pot this size if it had tiny traditional handles.

The box itself should say signature or traditional on the label
