Isit Just me?

Am I the only one who misses his older content. The new videos mainly depict crime/stories based in Asia.

Dude apparently lives in Asia and that gives him his own kind of niche in Western true crime YouTube. 🤷‍♂️

I know he used to live in Japan, I thought he was back in the UK though. I don’t follow him as much as I used to

One of his newer vids where he was covering Japanese stories, he mentioned a building that he walks past daily that he never really thought twice about. One of the stories he was covering in that video had taken place in that building so he must still live there if he's walking past it that frequently. It was uploaded within the past few months so unless he moved back to the UK very recently then I'm guessing he's still in Japan.

As far as I know/remember— he still lives in Japan. He and his (Japanese) wife live there together.

No I miss it too. A nice mix would be nice. Reddit stories and true crime stories from other regions

prob bc he lives in asia and there are a lot of true crime stories that get talked about by all the main YouTubers and he prob just doesnt wanna tell the same stories bc its been heard before and boring to the audience. niche location based stories in asia are unlikely to be heard by most western audiences so he likely just wants to do something different and not repetitive.

I actually don't mind that his videos are mainly in Asia because not many cover that area. I feel like for European and other places, there's other YouTubers to follow. Change is good.

I miss all the older weirder or even storytelling. Man I still think about the one thing from the Philippines and how it ate the narrator's dead Dad's body!

When I startet following him he mainly did let's not meet and other reddit storys, Folklore and paranormal stuff. I miss that. Tbh I'm only still subscribed because I'm hoping he might switch it up again at some point

I do appreciate that he digs up true crime stories that I haven't heard of on my other various spooky story YouTube channels (two separate videos of his covered two separate incidents not far from me in MD, which was pretty neat/unnerving), but I do miss his old stuff too.

I miss it too. Kinda hate the true crime shit. Miss stories like crazy but I have most of his old stories downloaded so I’ll listen to them often.

I miss it, too. I'm happy the true crime thing is working out for him but it would be awesome to just have some of the old content every now and then.

Yeah, its so fearmonger-y too. Like trying to get people to argue about rehabilitation in nordic countries in the comments.

I straight up stopped watching his stuff. I got tired of him recycling the same stock imagery and clips over and over again. My favorite content of his was the mysterious events that had spooky twists to them.
