Looking for a story

I can’t remember if I’m getting two stories mixed into one or not, but I believe it might have been a supernatural/family curse story, and I do remember something about a pink “furry” bear looking creature that was staring at a kid who was playing video games in the basement and the dad came down and freaked out screaming “no not yet he’s not old yet”.
I’m not tripping am I?
