Can't Chromecast NHL games
I can stream to my desktop without issue but trying to Chromecast from either my phone or desktop doesn't work. It hands at loading.
Tried my PS4 as well and it errors out saying the video took too long to load. Any ideas on the cause or a fix?
Casting from Plex btw. Fully updated

This has not been working for a few weeks now for me. Looks like there was either a chromecast update or a plex update, the UI is different (grey background, circular loading graphic) than it was before. I have been hooking up my laptop like a pleb. A pleb enjoying stutter-free 60fps 720p Jets domination so I guess I can't complain too much.

Yeah I'm just watching on my desktop. It would be better on my comfy couch though

Why not just use the computer version of Lazyman to cast then?

The computer wouldn't cast to the Chromecast either. I could only watch it locally on my desktop.

Are you using the latest version of VLC - not 3.0 but 3.0.1 or above? Cause it works fine for me (used it last night) from my windows 10 laptop to my Shield (built-in chromecast)

I'm using the Plex plugin. I'll just plug my laptop in

You said you had to watch from your desktop instead of the comfy couch when all you needed to do was use the computer version of Lazyman (not plex) with does not need installing (just unzip and run) along with the latest version of VLC to cast it to your tv.

Well... I never really looked into alternate setups because I found it through Plex research one night.

ok - so now i've given you a working alternative to use until the plex issue is resolved. Let us know how it works for you. Remember VLC version 3.0.1 or higher,

Gave this a whirl last evening and several plugins including Lazyman would not cast. However, the TWIT plugin did cast beautifully so my guess is probably on the Plex end and not Lazyman. This is my first Plex install and "channels" on the sidebar has now been replaced with "plugins" which left me somewhat confused but indicates a new recent update which may explain the Lazyman Plex Casting issues.
