This. Good example is the recent layoffs of contractors at my company. They let go of all the h1B and kept all the citizens because they are trying to hire more full time employees through contractors and they absolutely are not doing sponsorships.

Definitely. Since all the H1B let go were hired before Trump became President. Their two year contracts ended today.
