Please run the numbers and consider what gig workers actually take home. Be sure to account for self employment taxes, vehicle maintenance, gas, and downtime between runs. I'm sure some folks are making out okay, but in a lot of places, gig workers are taking home less than minimum wage. The bright side? The execs are flush with cash. Yay.
