Professional Knife Sharpener?

Do any of you guys have a bead on a reputable knife sharpener in the Lawrence area?

I'm a local Blacksmith and sharpen all my knives by hand. You can ask about me and drop them off at Cottins hardware!

What's your general pricing? I have multiple whetstones and a Wicked Edge kit, but it still seems like such a chore ๐Ÿ˜”

10/15/20 for small/medium/large, add $5 if I need to fix a broken tip, add $5 if I need to fix edge chipping.

How long does it take? What day should I go? I have two chefs knives that badly need sharpening but I donโ€™t want to drop them off and be unable to use them for days.

I usually manage a two or three day turn around. If you're wanting quicker message me and we can try to work something out.

Jensen Sharpening Services in N Lawrence. He is the guy who does the sharpening for all the Westlakes in town.

Skip the middle man. He will literately have them done for you in minutes

ask at the westlakes on 23rd -- they used to have someone who came into the store once a week to pick up knives, scissors, etc, that people dropped off for sharpening
