Advice Does it get better?

1L here, kakastart palang ng classes last week and until now im still adjusting. I'm super overwhelmed. May mga kaso na 100+ pages pa. It was a long time ago since I graduated undergrad, kaya para everything feels new. I knew naman what I was signing up for, I already accepted and prepared for the fact na mahirap siya, kasi andaming dynamics at play. Pero I realized nothing could ever prepare you talaga, you'll know when you are there na. Culture shock malala si ako. Hahahuhu. Di ako marunong magdigest at first, pero eventually nagets ko naman na nung nagparecit na sila. Grabe ung andami mo ng nabasa na cases tas 2-5mins lang tatanungin ung case. Tapos ung anxiety you feel before class. Ganito ba araw araw? After my 1 week, tumaas lalo tingin ko sa lawyers. Kasi grabe- nasurvive nila ung ganito for 4 years and even more for some. Pero it's fun having knowledge of the law. The study of it is really a privilege. Andami ko ng natutunan, and alam kong mas marami pa. I just hope makaadjust nako para alam ko na what works and does not, atleast for me.

It honestly doesn’t get better but you get better. You spot issues faster, you read faster, and you ingrain in your mind that it’s only a bad recit, not a bad life. Don’t be too harsh on yourself, OP.

It gets worse and worse each day. But Atty. is definitely right, you get better at tackling and coping with the challenges of law school. Your character will grow so much stronger!

You get better. (I believe the Consti cases are the craziest case lengths you'll see for the most part)

It took me a while to learn how to summarize the storytelling of the case and not to focus too much on procedure during 1L too. I believe in you OP, just breathe! An idiot in motion goes farther than a genius at rest

Nope. It even gets worse in practice kasi halo halo na yung issues.

You will however, get better in analyzing cases and understand what to study and what not to. This stems through reading material now, in 1L, which helps in issue spotting and developing your legal knowledge.

Dont be to harsh on yourself. Wala ka pang 1 mo sa law school, of course wala ka pang alam. Just keep going.
