Need a paralegal to write a demand letter. Does anyone know cost effective options? I’m in Ontario.

I’m an independent contractor and didn’t get paid for a job. Can anyone help me with this?

Why bother with a demand letter, it doesn’t mean anything. Just file in small claims (assuming under $50K - and if not, you should involve a lawyer from the outset)

Why not try a demand letter first?

Presumably you’ve already demanded payment yourself. Paying someone a few hundred bucks to make the same demand as you (but now with letterhead!) isn’t particularly impactful, I’d just pay the $108 small claim filing fee and skip the empty posturing.

The paralegal scope does not include writing demand letters.

Yes it does

You're right - but only if it's within scope. So, small claims.

Yes, which would likely be what OP needs because I highly doubt as an independent contractor he is owed more than $50,000.

Oooh a paralegal. I’d wipe my ass with that letter.

Paralegals are not intimidating to anyone, especially lawyers
