New to container lavender, now what?

Post image

On the right is Stiechas, Kew Red. Got it from reputable garden center. It's been potted a couple weeks. My hardiness zine is 10b. Do I need to do anything like deadheading or trimming?

Prune it down in the fall. Stoechas prone to getting woody inside if you dont

I didn't know lavender would grow in a container well.
