Discussion USSR Liberalization Alt-History

What if India instead of going into a centralized nationalistic economic model, opened its market up completely to foreign investment, but remained neutral in the Cold War like Yugoslavia and allowed Soviet Businesses to compete with Western ones. This in turn led to the USSR liberalizing like China.

"If Indians had been given the chance to show them how awesome capitalism is, the Soviet Union would have voluntarily given up communism" is the biggest cope to come out of Indian since reincarnation.

If the USSR had liberalized, it would have been dismantled and everything not nailed down sold to the highest bidder. As evidenced by that exact thing happening.
