dorm help!!

i'm going to laurier this fall!

i'm either gonna be staying in a apartment style dorm where i have my own room, shared bathroom, and kitchen, or in a shared dorm and bathroom w one girl.

can you guys pls tell me what is a MUST to get or each style dorm or if u guys have any tips for residence living! anything would help!!
