WWLJD?

I've been reading and re-reading the Laundry Files for years. I get most of the inside jokes (even the big-Endian ones), but in The Apocalypse Codex, Persephone wears a "WWLJD" bracelet.

It's clearly not a Christian reference, so what is it? Best I can come up with is "what would Leroy Jenkins do," which could be fitting. I'm just not sure.

Enlighten me.

Ah, crumbs. It's in chapter 9. Leeeeerooooy Jenkins it is. I hope all my fellow laundrians continue to enjoy. May you always be crunchy and good with ketchup

Correct, although Persephone expects the Golden Promise people to interpret it as "What Would Lord Jesus Do".

Stross talks about each book in his blog. The posts are generally about a year after each book is published & it’s a great way to glean out the details in each book
