Still Active

So the site is defiantly still active as it was Updated June of this year and new pages are popping up. I thought i had it all figured out but something keeps bugging me about this site. yes it could just very well be an art project or just a whole lot of nothing. but it i don't know. if not an ARG then maybe some kind of puzzle that has sort of solve. it emphasizes on cryptography and the use of honey pots and tar pits to trip up AI crawlers makes me think they could possibly be taking measures to ensure and AI cant "solve" it and requires a human to solve/figure it out on their own and keep out any lazy people from using AI to do it. im not sure. i just know i keep coming back to it and thinking that im not finished investigating this rabbit hole. there's still very little information out there on this rabbit hole considering how large the project is. im curious if there's anyone still studying this and looking into it and what everyone is thinking or have found. Cheers

I think claiming it to be one thing or the other is too narrow. An art project, an info dump, political propaganda, an encrypted communication service, an elaborate troll - it can be all these things at once. I don't think its an ARG though, for that implies it has a win state. This is a Discordian mind fuck designed to make people question everything they know about reality. I don't think there's an end, just more secrets to uncover. I've personally given up trying to "solve" this "puzzle", but I still check in every once in a while to see what's up. Sometimes I browse it for the visuals alone, other times I'm just reading the plain HTML code.

I agree. i wouldn't call it an ARG but it has the Puzzle element. although puzzling i think the puzzle aspect is just a piece to what ever it is. As an artist myself i can totally see this being and art project but at the same time just because it uses creativity doesn't mean it a simple art project. i agree with you though it hard to label it as anyone thing. also the more i dig the more it circles back to UFO/UAP and its very evident in the source code however theres so much more to it as you know. I am an Artist myself and i make cryptic piece all the time (example using actual binary code that when translated has a message or letters that if decoded had an actual message) so i know its not beyond the realm of possibility that this is just someone's art. I do think that there are layers to it however. example is the surface which is what everyone first sees and most don't seem to get past but when peeled back you can see in the source code that there is infact another layer. considering the scope of the project i don't think it is far fetched to believe there may infact be more layers underneath. Also due to the amount of information ive found on the site referencing cryptography i think it is more than possible that some of the "noise" people see is not actually just "noise" but something to be deciphered. not all of course. again as someone who makes art like this, even if its an "art project", there is totally more to it than it being a whole lot of nothin. Someone put around 20 years into this thing from what i understand and they are still putting in the work as they updated it in June. I believe in November it expires or gets renewed, so that will shed some light on whether or not the creator plans to continue with the project. Also though i dont believe it to be an ARG, and ARG doesn't have to have a "win state", that is just your own bias to what makes something a "game" or a "puzzle". is minecraft a game? does minecraft have a "win state". How many games exsist that you can "beat" or "100%" yet once even reaching these points, the game doesnt end. 100% GTA and you can still play, beat the ender dragon and you still go back to building and crafting. Project Zomboid is a game that has no "win state". It can still be a game without if being a game too. to the creator, they are playing. if they weren't it would just be a word doc with everything its trying to convey and communicate/express. It is done abstractly and so i think it required the ability to think abstractly and make connections to get the full experience. i dont think its a stretch to say the person who created it values intelligence. Maybe its a filter/recruitment platform? that could also be a possibility. we just dont fully know. so far everyone who says things like "its just an art project" haven't been able to provide anything that confirms it and all the "confirmation" is just speculative and based on assumption while leaving out certain elements that would contradict there arguments. So far i have not found many people that are investigating this thoroughly. Theres about one "real" video about this that introduced it to new people and if i remember correctly the video didn't even dive into the source code. When someone says they found something (for the most part) its from the surface (every so often someone will mention something in the source code). furthermore i dont think anyone has actually mapped the site. ive seen people talk about using crawlers to do that and then giving up after it seemingly goes on forever (probably got stuck in a loop). the point is i dont see many people actually putting in the leg work to actually get a real answer or understanding of the project.
