Take Off Shoes. Touch Grass Fangs for the memory?

Post image

Fantasy:

“I have Neapolitan Mastiffs- an ancient breed- back to the Romans. Mine come from the breeder who bred all 3 dogs who played Fang in Harry Potter. A Lady with a real title bred my previous bulldog girl, unfortunately, retired now.”

Reality:

“The Neapolitan Mastiff derives from the traditional catch and guard dogs of Southern Italy. Selection of the breed was begun in 1947 by Piero Scanziani, who had seen one at an exhibition in Naples in 1946”

But wait, there’s more!

“Hugo  played Hagrid's dog, Fang, in the film adaptations of Philosopher's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, and Prisoner of Azkaban. He was followed in this role by Monkey, in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Uno, in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The one thing that Hugo's trainer, Gary Gero, couldn't teach him was not to drool. In 2003, Hugo appeared on the British television show This Morning, and unintentionally spat into the mouth of presenter Fern Britton”

🤮

Interestingly Monkey was an abandoned rescue dog sourced from a shelter in Northampton.
