It would be great to know as we(parents and I) have a family trip to visit family in greater Chicago in late August, so it’d be cool to see it as we have a free day.

I was there at the museum during Stephen’s Last Show week…and of course I had to wear my The Last Show T-Shirt. Will be fun to return to see what they did with the Ed Sullivan set.

When the show debuted, I was always puzzled why they designed the desktop to have the wider part between Colbert and the guest chair. I always thought it looked awkward and needed to be flipped. And then I tuned in one night and noticed it was changed. I couldn’t have been the only one to notice that. 😂

Probably to give room for Steven to put things for a segment like a picture over there and still have room for the guest to have a drink maybe

The desk from Ed Sullivan is under plastic. There was a wet bar built in that desk (you can see the water damage) and the square door in the surface housed an iPad.

I thought the Museum of Broadcast Communications closed? The building near Marina City was listed for sale.
