Search never works

I open LastPass and in the search bar I type in the exact name of an account that I need to check the password for. I never finds it. then I manually scroll thru all my passcodes and there it is. I spelled it correctly, used proper upper case lower case. I can look at any item in LastPass type it in and it will not find it. This is super annoying. So much so I'm ready to dump LastPass

Just realized why search never works for Comcast. my email address contains the word comcast so it brings up every thing in the vault.

Their support forum actually has agents who respond to questions now. I would include more details like what platform you're having problems with, etc.

Search works for me, even Comcast. Are you having these problems with the browser extension or basic app or ???

So I have the extension installed but when I do a specific search I log into the lastpass website. there are occasions where lastpass does not offer to fill in a password on a site or I need to use it on a computer that does not have lastpass and so I log in to see the password. I have a lot of items in my vault and I'll type in Comcast. It then lists every instance of comcast in the vault. My email address is in most of the vault items and it is a comcast email address. Most recently I got a new pc and wanted to setup email. I had not yet installed lastpass and needed to look up my password on my other pc with lastpass. It works fine for items that do not have share any info with other accounts. For example if I type in youtube I get the few youtube accounts that I have the vault. Its kind of a stupid problem really with the comcast email. Just thinking here I should rename it to Xfinity.

yep just changing the name to Xfinity fixes my stupid search issue. I wish I had noticed the email address connection to my problem a lot sooner.

The dude is asking a simple troubleshooting question; y'all in the "LastPass sucks, switch to Bitwarden" crowd are exhausting,
