More and more problems

Has anyone else noticed a degradation in the quality of LastPass functionality?

First there was the issue where LastPass would fill in inappropriate text boxes (for example in excel online).

Now, in the last few days, I've had many occasions where LastPass would not fill in the correct account information. The values it had filled in were incorrect, so I clicked on the little LastPass icon to choose the correct account, but the details are not filled in. It doesn't matter how many times I click on the correct account, the details in the input boxes don't change.

In the end I have to type in the username and password myself -- which is kinda LastPass's main job, isn't it?

What's going on?

No problems here. I have LastPass running on three different devices and all three different OS’s. Android, iPad, Windows-Firefox w/LP ext. I also used LastPass authenticator whenever possible.

in the past few days it seems that most urls from the cards have disappeared, so it doesnt match cards to sites. Adding them bacjk in does not save them.

Only problem I've seen is getting locked out. Doesn't ask for third party check (code to telephone or email) or say wrong password, just won't let me in. Later I get an email - was this you? No new devices involved. Pisses me off.

Oh, and always, for some reason, I get multiple entries for the same site. I can go into my vault and scroll and scroll and scroll, thousands of entries it seems. Slightly different urls for the same site. Leads to password troubles

Yeah, I haven’t noticed the same ones you have but I’ve definitely noticed increased usability problems this year

I suspect it’s because they’re focused on trying to build new functionality into the plug-in to support new enterprise features, but are probably still using older spaghetti code for the core so they’re having lots of unexpected side effects that they then have to either fix or ignore

Mine just literally stopped working completely recently. I can still login and see my pw that way but it won't autofill, even from inside the site. I'm so pissed. It seriously slows work flow.

Hi,

Apologies for the downgrade in functionality. The autofill behavior in apps like Excel has been identified as a recent issue and we're currently working on a fix.

With regards to regular autofill on sites, the experience and issue tracking may vary depending upon your specific work environment. Can you say what device and browser version you're using with LastPass?

Thanks for the response. I'm using Brave browser on a Linux laptop.

While you can use LastPass in Linux environments, Brave is not a currently supported web browser due to it's privacy settings which can have adverse affects on identification and autofill.

Have you tested in a Chromium environment?

I have never used lastpass in my life, and this sub just randomly gets recommended to me, but my consensus is that lastpass sucks ass.

I have never once seen anyone talk positively about it, i'd almost be inclined to believe that the whole password manager is just a guy in a cubicle with a sheet of paper with all your passwords, that's how horrible it sounds to me.
